ACB Regional Connections Events will bring bands and musicians from a region together for a day of collaboration, education, performance and discussion. The second of these takes place June 14 and 15, 2024, in Richardson, Texas hosted by the Plano Community Band. The Friday and Saturday events will be at Richardson High School.

About the Music Reading Session

The music reading session will be a chance to play through many pieces of music. The sessions will allow musicians and directors to get a feel for a wide number of pieces across a variety of grade levels, learn about composers that may not be known to them, and allow for those playing and listening to gain perspective on the accessibility and enjoyment of a piece for their own bands.  There is little rehearsing as there is no performance beyond the reading of the music as part of the session. Those registrants who do not wish to read through the music will be the only audience. Suggest music for the session.
