 Welcome to ACB's website. I hope you will find information here that will be useful to you and to your band. If you are not a member, I encourage you to consider becoming one ( an application can be found on this site). If you believe in bands and band music as I do, your membership not only brings you some added benefits, it is somewhat like your contribution to a local church or charity. With the dues received by our members, we are able to do more positive things for community bands and for band music in general. Besides, you might find our conventions to be a lot of fun!  ACB Convention 2009
Welcome to Houston! The 2009 ACB Convention is hosted this year by three Houston-area community ensembles acting together: The Houston Concert Band, The Lone Star Symphonic Band, and The Woodlands Concert Band. You can read more about these groups by clicking on the Host Bands tab at the top of this screen. This year's convention will feature a nationally-known clinician, multiple special-interest sessions, and well as nine outstanding concert performances. Check our schedule for concert details, and map and directions are included in the "Convention Information" menu choice above. A special thanks to all the supporters, sponsors, and local band members for making this convention happen.
