Re: Submitting Program Information

The ACB collects program information from participating member bands and submits it to ASCAP and BMI at the end of each year as part of the sub-licensingagreement.

The easiest way to provide this information to both BMI and ASCAP is for you tosend the information electronically.  On the ACB website you can find asimple spreadsheet for you to use in compiling your 2009 program informationand you would just need to fill in the spreadsheet and send it to programs@acbands.org at the end of the year (December or even January is fine).

The program information is needed for the composers and arrangers to be credited appropriately.  Please include all works performed, including manuscripts and programs performed at free concerts or civic events.

It is important to the composers and arrangers whose music appears in the catalogs of ASCAP and BMI that we let them know when and where their music is being performed.  The preferred method of reporting your play lists is via email in an EXCEL file listing the following:  Name of Band, Date of Performance, Location of Performance, Title of Piece, Name of Composer/Arranger. The EXCEL file may be obtained from, and should be sent directly to: programs@acbands.org or mailed to:
